What we do
Three areas.
M&A, debt and structured finance, turnaround and strategic advisory.
Montesino has narrowed its work to three areas: the ones in which companies ask for it. An engagement often moves from one area to another over time, always with the same partner.
Practice areas
Three years maximum.
Every engagement starts with on-site analysis. The proposal sets the area, the length and the expected results.
Mergers & Acquisitions

→ 02Debt & Structured Finance

→ 03Turnaround & Strategic Advisory

→Industries
Eight industries.
A strong track record in metalworking and engineering. Working capital, margins and multiples differ even between neighboring segments: oil & gas structures and plant engineering have different financial cycles.

How we work
Four rules.
The company first, then the proposal, then the mandate. The Montesino method →
Analysis at our expense
On-site analysis and data reconstruction are at Montesino’s expense.
Fees after the proposal
The fixed retainer and the success fee are agreed after the proposal and are due only if the company accepts it.
Sustainable engagements
An engagement opens only if it holds up over time, for the company and for Montesino.
Advisers stay in place
The company keeps its own advisers, who work with Montesino.
